Aim
The Journal of Society, Community and Business Development (SCBD) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The journal aims to disseminate high-quality scholarly works resulting from community service activities that contribute to solving societal problems, empowering communities, and promoting sustainable development through interdisciplinary approaches.
SCBD provides a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, professionals, students, government institutions, and community organizations to publish innovative ideas, best practices, and community engagement outcomes that create positive social, educational, and economic impacts at local, national, and global levels.
Scope
The journal welcomes original manuscripts reporting community service activities, implementation studies, and best practices in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Community empowerment and community development
- Social innovation and social entrepreneurship
- Education and community-based learning
- Economics and local economic development
- Business development and entrepreneurship
- Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) development

SCBD publishes original community service articles that have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration by other journals. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance before publication.
