Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of history learning models and methods in the Merdeka Curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Purwokerto. The researcher explains three problems, namely the types of history learning models and methods, the implementation of history learning models and methods, and the obstacles and their solutions in the history learning process. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, document study, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of history teachers, namely Hani Lathifah 'Azmii, S.Pd, and Suci Wijiarni, S.Pd, as well as 10th grade students at SMK Negeri 2 Purwokerto. The results of this study are the implementation of historical learning models and methods in the Merdeka Curriculum. Various models and methods of history learning can be applied in the learning process in the Merdeka Curriculum in the classroom by looking at the material and classroom conditions, which can then be adjusted according to the students' needs. In addition, it can be used as input for history learning strategies in the classroom in the Merdeka Curriculum in the future.
