About the Journal

Migrant Research and Development (MRD) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that aims to advance scholarly understanding of migration and development in both global and local contexts. The journal serves as a platform for academic exchange and policy dialogue on the interconnections between human mobility, economic growth, and social transformation. MRD encourages innovative, evidence-based research that contributes to fair, inclusive, and sustainable migration governance, while highlighting the roles of migrants and diasporas in fostering development and social progress.

The scope of the journal includes (but is not limited to) the following areas:

Authors are invited to electronically submit manuscripts of up to 15 pages through the Journal Website. The submitted manuscripts should follow the format and guidelines provided in the Author Guidelines section.
