Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Journal of Health Economic and Policy Research is an international peer-reviewed journal. This statement clarifies ethical conduct for all parties involved in the manuscript publication, including the author(s), Editor in Chief, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewer, and the publisher (University Muhamadiyah Purwokerto).
Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication
Articles published in peer-reviewed Journal of Health Economic and Policy Research provide a critical basis for developing a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is apparent signs of the quality of the authors' work and the organizations that support them. The scientific method is supported and embodied in peer-reviewed literature. Therefore, it's critical to establish expectations for ethical conduct among every stakeholder involved in publishing, including the author, journal editor, peer reviewer, publisher, and society.
As the publisher of the Journal of Health Economic and Policy Research, University Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Indonesia takes its duties of guardianship over all publishing stages very seriously and is aware of its other duties. We are dedicated to ensuring that editorial judgments are not impacted or influenced by advertising, reprint, or any commercial revenue. In addition, where helpful and required, the Editorial Board, Journal of Health Economic and Policy Research, and University Muhammadiyah Purwokerto will participate in communications with other journals and publishers.
Publication decisions
The editor of the Journal of Health Economic and Policy Research decides which articles to publish in the journal. This decision must always be guided by the validity of the work in question as well as the importance of the material to researchers and readers. The editorial board's policies and the laws that will then be in effect regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism may serve as the editors' guides and limitations. In making this choice, the editors may consult with additional editors or reviewers.
Fair play
The editor examines manuscripts for their intellectual content regardless of the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
Confidentiality
There is no need for the editor, or any other member of the editorial board, to divulge any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
Unpublished information disclosed in a submitted manuscript cannot be used by the editor for independent research projects without the author's express written approval.
