The character of Shiraishi Megumi in the film Code Blue: The Movie (2018) is portrayed as a highly professional, resilient female doctor capable of making crucial decisions in emergency situations. This study aims to describe the representation of women in the medical profession through this character. This research employs a qualitative method with a film text analysis approach. Data were collected through the observation of key scenes, dialogues, and the characterization of Shiraishi Megumi. This data was then analyzed using the perspectives of cultural representation theory and feminism to uncover the meanings behind the constructed imagery. The results indicate that the film represents a professional woman who is not only technically competent but also capable of leading, managing crises, and maintaining empathy in a male-dominated workspace. These findings underscore the significant role of media in shaping public perception regarding gender equality in the professional sphere, particularly in the medical field, which demands resilience and leadership.
